7 Fears Successful People Must Overcome

Fear is an unpleasant often strong emotion caused by anticipation or awareness of danger. In our everyday life we all got one, two or three things we are frightened of due to our upbringing or the environment, homes we grew up from.

We cannot blame anyone but we can overcome them. Always think of the brighter or positive side of life, turn your fear into a passion and use it to inspire & help others.

Let me start with using a story of a friend. I had a friend who everyone disapprove when she sings. Most often she get teased & laughed at. I encouraged her to work on herself if truly she has the passion to sing, she should go for it. Excellent or perfect singers didn’t become great in just a day, they trained. She heeded to my advice and attended a music school, today she sings and people get goosebumps all over.

Overcome it, in life definitely you will get criticized or disapprove by people who you eventually didn’t even think they will. Don’t allow negative energy to drain you. Pick up the pieces and make something great out of it.

Overcome fear of poverty and stay calm in whatever situation you found yourself in. Fear of poverty doesn’t sometimes overwhelm you because you are stupid, or ignorant. You know what’s going on. You are aware of the economic situation, both in your personal life and in the general economic environment in which you live. You have some great ideas of the resources and skills you have or can find to deal with them. So why the fear? Stay positive!

Fear of death is also known as “thanatophobia and it affects thousands of people across the globe. We have lived best lives. At this point, we should look back and count our blessings. After all, we have created a community of friends, relatives and colleagues.

Firstly, write down all the things that makes you think about death.

You can easily overcome “fear of death ” by applying this simple power points:

  • List down all the people you love, the places you have travelled to, the food you love most, the music or album you love listening to, your achievement etc.
  • Think about the positive side of life. Nature is absolutely awesome, spend 30 to an hour, look at how beautiful the clouds look, how refreshing the wind is, those amazing grasses / flowers all this were created just for you.
  • Spend time meditating by doing yoga, visit the spa, pedicures, manicures. You can as well as get yourself a pet e.g. dog, go for jogging in the morning with it. Practice all these often & your life will be lively

Some of us are bond to be afraid of failing, at most times. Failure of one person might simply be a great learning experience for someone else.

Fear of failure (also called “atychiphobia”) is when we allow that fear to stop us from doing the great things that can move us forward in life.

Let’s look at how we can overcome failure

  • Ever heard of “I’m born to win”, exactly you are not meant to be a failure but you were created to win. Always have that positive mindset, each morning, each time say to yourself I’m a winner.
  • Set few goals, these should be goals that are simple, but not overwhelmingly, challenging. Think of these goals as “early wins” that are designed to help boost your confidence

In one point in life when we love or adore one or two person in life we intend not to offend them, yes they mean so much to us and we do not want to lose them, which can generate a fear or panic in us. Stop being afraid of offending people.

The truth is people don’t remember anything about you. Tendency to help depends upon how you approach people for help. Based on the number of people that don’t seem to care about offending others I would say, no, it might not be all that normal. But, it is refreshing. To be happy in life you must thoroughly understand and be confidence in your speech.

There’s this fear we all share, more frightening. How do you cope when you face the fear of looking stupid? Well the cause of all my excellence, all my ability, is fear. I am afraid, I am afraid to make a mistake, afraid to look like a fool in front of others, but then I realize I am a good writer, so why the fear? I need to gather more confidence, smile and do what I enjoy doing. You don’t need to be great at your talent, in life it stages and we are bond to learn and improve ourselves. If I was able to overcome looking like a fool you can as well.

Often, the individual might be afraid of success, owing to the fear of inability to handle fame or wealth it brings.

To overcome the fear of success, one must first accept it; even consider the fear as a gift. Writing down one’s thoughts and changing negative into positive, one can be a great self-help technique while dealing with this phobia. Positive visualizations, meditation and deep breathing upon facing an anxiety attack related to thoughts associated with success are other remedies.
