Ghana’s most controversial dancehall musician, Charles Nii Armah Mensah presented his award to his arch-rival Stonebwoy at the 2019 4syte Music Video Awards held on Saturday night.
The two dancehall musicians have been at logger heads with each other for a long time but managed to settle their scores after their clash at this year’s Ghana Music Awards.
However, despite smoking the peace pipe after many months, there have been doubts about whether both camps are at peace.
In a bid to certify the good relationship among them, Shatta Wale has dashed his 2019 4Syte ‘Most Popular Video Award’ to Stonebwoy and has vowed never to engage him in a brawl again.
Speaking after winning the award, the Gringo hitmaker said he was aware of the controversy perceived by many about his position on awards but declared he’s grown past that stage.
Shatta Movement President made a call to the management of the Bhim Nation to come for the award on stage.
Shatta said, “First of all I want to thank God for this. Its not been an easy journey from Bandana to Shatta Wale and I know that there are whole lot of controversy about Shatta Wale and awards, but if I have Stonebwoy here I want to present this awards to him and tell him I love you so much
“Anybody representing Stonebwoy can come for the award and tell him I said the beef is over,” he added.
Shatta went ahead to win four more awards on a night when Sarkodie won three awards.
